Will has worked in sales and marketing roles for the last 10 years across the world from Brisbane, Edinburgh, Hong Kong and now Dublin. Will has worked on the front line in the travel industry managing a hostel in Edinburgh for two years and also worked for an excellent small business, Tsunami Sport, a teamwear brand based in Hong Kong. The last two and half years has seen Will working in the marketing technology space in Dublin.
He currently works with Xtremepush, a world leading customer engagement, personalisation data platform and one of Ireland’s fastest growing tech companies. XP, as we know ourselves, is working with lots of big and small brands in the UK and Ireland across different verticals including banking and finance, ecommerce, sports betting and gambling, hospitality and tourism and travel. From a personal standpoint Will is a Australian native but I have been lucky enough to get to travel and work on the back of my passion for rugby. I was able to head to both Scotland and Hong Kong to play rugby semi-professionally (very, very ‘semi-ly’, probably more ‘extra-amaturaley’).
In Hong Kong Will met his wife who is Irish and they made the move to Dublin in 2018. Outside of work and sport Will is very much a geek and actually studied ancient history and international politics so he had kind of fallen into sales and marketing as a career.
